Item 3 – The Trustee’s annual report and financial statements with the independent examiner’s report is here:

Item 4 – John Conroy has stepped down from his role as a Trustee at the club. The Board wishes to place on record our thanks to John for the fantastic service he has given to the club during his tenure as a Trustee. His contribution has been exceptional. Trustees recommend the appointment of Ian Warrington as a new Trustee for a term of 4 years. Trustees also recommend the re-appointment of Roger Morley for a further 4 years.

Item 5 – Trustees recommend the appointment of Jean Simpson MBE as Honorary President for 2025/26.

Item 6 – The club has been notified by England Athletics that the annual registration fee for 2026/27 will be £23 per competitive athlete. We expect that the affiliation fee we pay to Northern Athletics for each competitive athlete will remain at £2. The club does need to raise income to fund improvements to the facility and these include a new clubhouse and new floodlights. However, we are mindful of the increase in EA fees and we are keen to support our competitive members. Therefore Trustees are recommending that a £5 increase in core fees will only be applied to non-competitive members. Therefore the proposed membership subscriptions for 2026/27 will be:

  • Under 12s – £25 (up from £20 currently)
  • Juniors/Students – £45 (including EA/NA fees) (up from £42 currently)
  • Seniors (competitive) – £60 (up from £57 currently)
  • Seniors (social/second claim) – £40 (up from £35 currently)

There are no proposals to increase the training fees for the coming year.
