As a result of some unforeseen changes in coaching personnel we have restructured our set up with our wonderful volunteer coaches, assistant and helpers. The groups for 2022/23 are currently as follows:
Under 11s and Under 9s – Fiona Healy (lead under 11s), Helen Vaughan (lead under 9s) supported on an ad hoc basis by Andy Sayers and Matt Finch.
Under 13s – Jess Buckley (jumps) and Dannielle Halton (jumps and hurdles)
Under 15s and Under 17 Sprints and field events – Anna Idoko (high jump), Sue Palmer (long jump), Jacqui Cross (hurdles) and Emma West
Under 15 and Under 17 Endurance – Geoff Little and Pete Bates
Senior Endurance – Dave Cole, Byron Edwards and Ian Warrington
Senior Sprints – Etta Kessebeh and Dave Little
Senior Development – Mandy Brady and Paula Gears
Throws – John Conroy and Claire Pullan
With membership growing (we now have over 400 members) we are always looking for volunteers who can support us in developing our athletes. We specifically need additional support with our Under 11s group as Andy hopes to move to support the Under 13s soon. Please speak to a member of the coaching team if you can volunteer some time. We can support with training and development.
