Following Government advice in relation to social distancing – and the guidance from England Athletics – Bury AC’s committee have taken the reluctant decision to suspend all training activity. The health and safety of the club’s members and their families has to be the number one priority and whilst we recognise the frustration that this move will cause – we know it is the right step to take.
The club will continuously monitor guidance as it develops and review our options. However, it looks very unlikely that there will be competitive athletics for the next few months.
Members are encouraged to adhere to Government guidance and to seek to remain fit and healthy by exercising in line with current advice.
Take care everyone!
