The club’s AGM takes place on Wednesday evening at 7.00pm via Zoom. The link to the Zoom call has been sent out to members through the club’s Attendli system.

Members will be presented with two documents and the links to them are inserted below. The first is the trustee’s annual report to the members. The report covers the period from 29th January 2021 (the date that the club was registered as a charity) to 31st March 2022 (the end of our financial year). Clearly there is a lot of activity about to take place at the Market Street track and whilst this falls outside the scope of the reporting period there will be an opportunity to discuss this.

The report of the club’s financial performance is also inserted below. Members should be cautious about interpreting the figures as the figures include the transfer of funds previously held in the BAC Facilities Ltd account. The £75k surplus has been set aside for match funding the project to resurface the track and field facilities and this should be taken into consideration. The trustees will give an account of this at the meeting.

Reference is made to the fund raising activities of the club and this is an area we need to keep a focus on. The club has set up a Givey donation platform to allow people to make donations to support the ongoing work. This can be accessed through
