CHRISTMAS IS COMING!

As the festive season approaches, club members should put two dates in their diaries:

Saturday 11th December is the date of the Club’s Presentation Evening and Christmas party. The event will be held at the Masonic Hall in Bury and will start at 7.00pm. Tickets are £10 each with the cost including entrance into the venue, a hot supper (vegetarian options will be available) and first class DJ. Tickets are available at track when you sign in – you can pay by cash or debit/credit card (we are not issuing physical tickets, just maintaining a list of paid attendees). We will also be holding our usual raffle so please be generous and bring prizes for donation.

Sunday 19th December is the date for the Club’s Christmas Handicap Races. They will be held at the track and there will be 150m handicapped races for our sprinters and mile races for our endurance athletes, You can sign up for the races when you log in for training at club nights. Their will be the annual presentation of the Woodward Trophy for the senior winner – but every competitor should bring a prize. First finisher gets first pick of the prizes but there will clearly be a prize for everyone. The event will start at 10.00am.
