Bury AC stalwart Margaret Davies has finally hung up her apron after volunteering at the Club for 34 years. At a leaving presentation in the Clubhouse Margaret was presented with flowers, gardening gift vouchers, a certificate of thanks and a card from her colleagues at the Club. A box of chocolates was also presented to Margaret’s daughter Rhiannon, who was her mum’s initial motivation for starting at the Club.
Chairman Mark Granby thanked Margaret for the countless hours she has supported the Club by working in the tuck shop on training evenings and at home fixtures. Her work has generated thousands of pounds for club funds and she will be really missed by everyone at Bury AC.
