Bury Athletic Club prides itself on being inclusive and works in partnership with several organisations to deliver track and field and exercise opportunities for members of the community who would ordinarily struggle to engage in sport.

Manchester based Instinct Resourcing, a digital learning recruitment firm, have teamed up with Bury Athletic Club to sponsor the purchase of the Club’s first racing wheelchair. A spokesman for the Company and dedicated member of Bury AC, Katrina Conroy, commented ‘when we were approached by Bury Athletic Club the Directors felt that this would be a wonderful opportunity for the Company to help a progressive Community Sports Club offer physical exercise and sporting facilities to people with disabilities, facilities which were not available elsewhere in the Bury and surrounding area’.

The Club is playing host to the Accessible Festival on Sunday 28th July giving the community an opportunity to see what facilities and support is available to them to improve health and wellbeing.
