Three Bury AC athletes have been called up for representative vests.

Marcus Dey was called into the Great Britain team for the European Youth Triathlon Championships hosted in Hungary. Competing against older athletes Marcus performed brilliantly to take 14th place overall and was the 3rd GB finisher. He completedĀ the 500m swim in 4th place, but then lost ground on transition into the 12.5km bike section. Covering the stage in 18.50 and in 13th place, Marcus had a better transition into the 3.6km run, taking off in 10th place. Despite covering the distance in an impressive 12.05 he lostĀ four places overall. His overall time of 38.41 was just over a minute slower than the overall winner, Vasco Vilaca, from Portugal. Well done Marcus.
