The Club has formally resolved to adopt the recently revised UKA policies and procedures on safeguarding, child protection, protecting vulnerable adults and the revised codes of conduct.
All club members (and parents/carers of children who are members of the club) should familiarise themselves with the code of conduct that is relevant to their role in the club.
The new documents can be found on the welfare and safeguarding page on this website. If more information is required then advice may be sought from Mark Granby, the Club’s Welfare Officer.
Bury AC is committed to ensuring that all members are safe and can enjoy athletics free from harm, bullying or harassment. Any breaches of the code of conduct will be investigated and appropriate action taken.
